Admin Area Hiding Certain Elements

  • Admin Area Hiding Certain Elements

    • I am experiencing difficulties with the Joomla admin area. There are areas that are hidden depending on where I am in the admin section.

      Please see screen shot.

in the screen shot the "Upload" button is hidden in the extension manager. But this also happens in Articles, etc.

Anyone have any experience with this issue?

      Thanks in advance.

      Joomla 3.4.1
      Gantry 4.1.29

    • This is usually one of two things:

      1) a corrupt Isis admin files
      2) a 3rd party plugin

Would you please create a Super Admin login for me along with FTP access info and place it in the SECURE part of your Reply

Hmm...using my Chrome browser I went to the Extension Manager page and then to Module Manager -> Type -> Menu and both pages looked fine, as they should.

What browser were you using when you took your screenshots?

On the off chance, if you ever have an issue with your browser display but it looks fine on other people's computers then start your browser in a "Safe Mode":

      "Incognito" - for Chrome
      "Private" - for FireFox
      "Safe Mode" - for IE11

What this does is turn all the users add-ons and custom browsers settings OFF and can help resolve a browser related issue.

    • I think it maybe a Safari issue. It worked OK in Chrome.
