How to enable compression as Google recommends?

  • How to enable compression as Google recommends?

    • I didn't renew my membership because since using gantry & template ambrosia, the pagespeed is on a poorly index of 29 mobile and 36 for desktop.

Googles recommends enbabling compression, eliminating render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content, leverage of browser caching and prioritizing visible content.

But compression IS enabled and so on. And I cannot find out how to resolve the problems. RokBooster is installed.

I couldn't find any solution in the forum. Do you have any advices for me?

      Regards, Al

    • Rokbooster does compress files and you can also enable gzip compression in global configuration and enable "conservative" caching there too.

Rokbooster has to be tuned to your particular environment and extensions - this is not something we can do for you as part of this support forum. I encourage you to read the rokbooster documentation to learn how to add exclusions and change the many other settings in rokbooster. Once tuned rokbooster will speed up your site so it's worth the effort.

Your subscription appears to have expired. Support does require a current subscription.

      Regards, Mark.
