SOLVED Joomla Backend Slow after updating Gantry 4

- After updating to the Gantry 4.1.36 theme on my Joomla site the backend is VERY slow. Any ideas of how to determine what is causing it?

- Try this in Managed Area try to disable the Gantry 4 Framework and see if the speed picks up if not then its the issue with Joomla. Let me know if the cause is Gantry 4 if it is I will take a look.

To make sure I understand:
In Extensions - Manage
Disable just Gantry 4 Framework and then try an operation on the backend of Joomla.
Do I understand the correctly.
Will disabing it and testing and then enabling it back cause any issue?

- Yeah like that, disable it DONT delete it just disable, no it will not.

- I disabled and then in performing a task on the backend it is still very slow.

- Then it's not Gantry that is doing that, did you make any other updates in the backend?

Yes, I updated some plugins, and Joomla.
I first tested on another server/site of mine that was created by cloning the server/site I am having issues with.
The cloned server/site worked just fine with the updates. The only difference is that the cloned site has a LOT less users, and less K2 items.

- Then its server that is the issue, also try to disable the plugins that you updated and see if that will speed things up, also what PHP version are you running?
