I'm currently using Gantry 3.1.6. I've been searching the documentation and the forum but have not found the answers yet so I hope you can help me:
Is there a way to easily see which menu items have customised per menu settings?
Is there a way to identify the items that have been customized (and preferably the default value)?
Is there a way to "undo" a per menu customised setting?
Thanks! Sorry if it is in the tutorial somewhere, I have not been able to find it.
So just making sure I understand this:
a) Only the checked items in the per menu panels (might) have different values than the default. ("might" because it is possible to check an item and not change the corresponiding fields)
b) Unchecked items will use the default value, no matter what value is in the corresponding greyed out fields (because you can check an item, change some value and then uncheck the item again).
Upon further usage I noticed that some of the menu items in the per menu drop-down list have an asterisk icon in front of them. These menu items turn out to be the ones that have customized settings!
Once you have selected one of the customized menus an option appears in the block below the dropdown list allowing you to "Remove Custom Settings for this Menu Item".
That makes live a lot easier! It would still be nice if you could compare the customized setting with the default without having to switch back and forth but it's not a big deal. Job well done on Gantry, I am only very new to all of this but I like the functionality and customization options of Gantry a lot!
