    • Hi RedRum - I don't remember. I use Akeeba when I use Quick start.
I also tested this issue on a completely new joomla site what is installed by original joomla installation. There is no this kind of problem. But let me explain something:
I have an other problem as well what is on my every site. Even it is installed by joomla or Akeeba. I can not install RT templates except Tachyon. With the other RT temlates's install I get this error message:
JFolder: :files: Path is not a folder. Path: /home/mydomain/public_html/tmp/install_4d917d2f0a18d
The directories have the right permissions.
The second problem is that I can not change Tachyon's (The only RT template what I can install without error message) settings. I can not even close the settings page. It looks like I can not save the file of the settings. I don't know. Could You try a fresh new joomla install and test the things above? I think this is a version of the server issue. I experineced this on more accounts with different domain names but on the same server.
      My server details:
      PHP Built On Linux 2.6.26-2-openvz-amd64 #1 SMP Tue Aug 31 09:54:44 UTC 2010 x86_64
      Database Version 5.1.37-2
      Database Collation utf8_general_ci

    • Hi Kat, I upgraded to Gantry 3.2.2. It didn't solve the problem. I installed onto 3.2.1 and I didn't remove the previous version. Can this cause a problem?
(I also have an other problem: I can not change the settings of the style. It writes: Fatal error: Class 'GantryArrayHelper' not found in /home/mydomain/public_html/ja6/libraries/gantry/core/utilities/gantryregistry.class.php on line 357 If I would like to close the settings I can not do that as well. In this case the browser doesn't show any failure notice just go to the settings page again. I have the right permissions but it looks like a permission problem. Maybe this problem connects to here as well.)

Never seen that error you originally saw, but we'll certainly look into.
Regarding the uninstall error, I can believe it, we added code to remove the menus at the last minute. Seems like we need to 'trick' the uninstaller too.
And that code is important :) you shouldn't remove it, we'll have a look as to why it's erroring for you. Can you give some info about your PHP version, etc.
Tachyon for Joomla 1.6 with Gantry 3.2.2 was just working fine at backend until I wanted to switch to another menu other than mainmenu-en under Gantry Menu options. After that frontend is outputting
Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$tree in /home/xxx/includes/menu.php on line 60
Fatal error: Class 'GantryArrayHelper' not found in /home/xxx/libraries/gantry/core/utilities/gantryregistry.class.php on line 357
      and backend
Fatal error: Class 'GantryArrayHelper' not found in /home/xxx/libraries/gantry/core/utilities/gantryregistry.
making impossible to edit template settings.
I wanted to revert to previous settings using manual database editing but it didn't work and I also saw that splice menu, split menu read the no 1 menu 'mainmenu-al' while fusion reads the defined one 'mainmenu-en' in jos_template_styles params.

    • ok, thanks for the info, we're going to have to dig into this more. Might be something about not using non-default menu, can you go back to mainmenu for now?

Actually, I just tested this with latest tachyon j16 bundle, then updated Gantry to latest 3.2.2 and then i tried changing around the menus. I had no problem when i changed to the "About Joomla" menu, neither frontend or backend. All worked as expected. Any other ideas on how to replicate this error??

    • I just reinstalled Joomla 1.6.3 and installed the rt_zephyr_j16 bundle and error has gone away and all seems to be ok now. 8)
