gantry template styles edit page comes up blank

I'm running joomla 1.7 with php 5.2.17 and gantry 3.2.8. have spent over 4 hrs trying to figure out why when i upgraded the modulus and kinetic templates, there is an issue that causes the edit page for either template style to come up absolutely blank. also, a view source right click shows absolutely no code. i can access the template css pages, gantry and the templates show installed, but something is wrong with gantry 3.2.8. i can do very limited editing with the gantry framework. i've uninstalled thru the the extensions manager and tried installing just gantry then the templates [unbundled] with no success and also getting one of of the template bundles with gantry and installing. absolutely no luck getting back to viewing the gantry framework. and there are no earlier versions of gantry available for joomla 1.7, all the files are noted as "deprecated"

Hi Dee,
I'm not support member, but I had a similar problem but that had to do with the browser I used. I had no problems when using another browser or when using compatibilty mode.
Did you try opening the same template editing page using a different browser?

I have the exact same problem.
I'm developing on a local environment, and this happens with XAMPP and WAMPP (php 5.3 and 5.2).
It does not matter what browser I use.
I tried both the standalone and the bundle versions.
Any ideas?

hi again,
in the joomla admin go to the global configuration and set 'error reporting' to 'maximum'.
then check the blank page again if it displays any error messages.

Same problem here in FireFox 9.0.1, blank page when trying to edit the template. No problem in IE9
Fresh install of joomla 1.7.3 + latest Dominion Template
What is strange is that when I click on the the Dominion template in the template manager, the first display is good, but when I click on the tabs (overview, style, feature ...) then everything disappears
Another strange thing, I tried exactly the same template + the same server settings a couple of months ago and it worked perfectly well in FF. Maybe it's a recent update of firefox that causes trouble
I'll use IE9 to develop the site

i am using ff 9.0.1 as well without any issues. wondering if you're using some browser addons that might be causing this odd issue? if you would like me to check your site, feel free to send me your link and super admin details.

thank you for your message and the details.
when i first tried your link i got a 500 internal server error. then i refreshed and was able to load the login screen. i entered the details but then again a 500 internal server error. something is really not right with your setup it seems. can you check your server's error logs or ask your host to do that for you?

Strange, I never get a 500 internal server error from my pc. Maybe the server was a bit down when you tried.
I've tried again to load the template manager in FF, and I managed to get it to work by refreshing the page. After page refresh, Gantry works well in FF and everything is well displayed with normal access to all settings.
It's pretty clear this issue is related to FireFox not to the template.
