Help with Gantry layouts and module positions

For some reason I cannot get 3 equal size columns setup using the Fresco template on the "home" page and Also I don't want to show the component view on the "home" template preset, so I go to advanced and turn it off and it still shows up on the website.
Here is my development site: outhousestorage.com/newsite/
You'll notice right away that I'm having problems with top positions in the template. Why can I not have 3 equal columns with a, b and c for top-content?
Any help would be appreciated! I really have tried everything I know but, no go!

understood? revert your changes in libraries/gantry/css/grid-12.css
add this to your css
.menu-home .rt-grid-12 #rt-content-top div.rt-grid-4 {width: 300px;height: 480px;}
.menu-home .rt-grid-12 #rt-content-top div.module-surround {height: 420px;}
.menu-home .rt-grid-12 #rt-content-top {margin-right: -10px;}
and of template.css is a good place ... better use a custom css file.
