    SOLVED "Display Component" not working?

Posted 11 years 4 months ago
    • Hi,

I set the "display component" to off but it is still displaying on the homepage.

I tried also setting "mainbody enabled" to off and that didn't work either.

    • hi again,

thank you for the details and apologies for the late reply.

please note that the settings in the template to hide the component, only refers to 'featured articles' pages, which is used by joomla as default for the frontpage. your frontpage though is not a 'featured articles' page but a 'single article' page.

so you would have to go to > menus > topmenu > home... and change the type of that menu item.

      kat :)

    • Ok thanks. I'll give it a go.

This should be in documentation somewhere?

    • hi again,

i will suggest to our developers to edit the tooltip text that appears in the template settings when you hover on the option itself.
