SOLVED font awesome icons disappear after adding CDN

Hi,
I just put one of my sites on a CDN but now the font awesome menu icons have disappeared. The menu dropdown arrows have change to squares. Can I fix this?

In my opinion CDN's are more trouble than they're worth unless you are a multi-national that trades across the world and your CDN provider has a server in each of the local countries. You also didn't say which CDN you are using. My advice would be to not use a CDN, instead use cache, rokbooster, gzip etc. You will probably find that your site is faster anyway then.
CDN tuning is really something that you need to take up with your CDN provider - it's not really anything to do with RT products.

I'm sorry that you don't like CDNs. I have no vested interest in them however I was pleasantly surprised after adding MaxCDN to a WordPress site I am working on. That WP site is using RT Vermilion and I had no problems with the font awesome icons after implementing it. That is why I decided to add the CDN to a slow Joomla site I had.
I have tried to get RokBooster working on several occasions however it consistently breaks every site I try it on!

Rokbooster has to be tuned to your particular environment/extensions - it can take some time to get this correct so it's unfortunately not a service we can provide as part of this support forum. All I can suggest is that you read our rokbooster documentation which should help you to get it working.
The main reason I don't like CDN's is that they invariably break things on a Joomla site - I have lost count of the number of times I have seen this in these forums. So, that's why I can't recommend their use. I'm afraid I don't have any useful suggestions as to how you can overcome your CDN issue other that to investigate where the page is trying to locate the fontawesome characters and see if there is an "exception" that you can make as part of your CDN settings.
I also note that you are using JCH_optimise too (another thing I don't like because it often breaks things). Using a CDN in conjunction with JCH-Optimise also can give rise to issues - so if you are going to use a CDN try tunring off jch_optimise - and remember to clear CDN cache after any change.
Your fontawesome icons do seem to be working at present though? so try clearing your browser cache too.

Actually I reported the initial problem before adding JCH Optimize. After reading your response I turned on Joomla cache and installed JCH Optimize. My font awesome problem went away after those two changes.
