Gantry 5 has taken over Joomla's ability to throw 404. Now it shows it's own 404 page, but I really need to disable this handling altogether. Anybody has any idea? Thanks.
AS I said in your other topic - You don't have a current subscription and Gantry 5 is till a Release candidate - So please would you ask your questions in the Gantry 5 Git chat room - that is where our developers will answer your questions.

Chat is active and working I just checked. The devs are not in the forum that you are posting.

I have answered you there - you have to wait until later as the DEVS are predominantly USA based.

Found the problem. I forgot that Gantry automatically creates its own "Home" and hijacks the menu upon installation. This is a pretty old and well known issue so it skipped my mind. When Joomla SEF is enabled and you're not using Joomla's default home, it messes up Joomla's error handling. Switching back to default Joomla home and disabling Gantry's home fixes it.
ugh, sorry, I should have remebered that as I had to fix that for someone else too the other day.
Oh well I'm glad you got it sorted.
