      I would like to have a layout where in a specific menu item, I do NOT see the mainbody, but only modules assigned to that menu item. I've created a layout and select mainbody in advanced, then turn it off, but I still see the article I'm linking to...

      Something tells me I'm doing this wrong...

      Thanks in advance,

      No your doing it right but be aware of that the Display MainBody & Display Component settings are functional only if you have your menu item set to menu type = "Featured Articles".

      To turn OFF FrontPage Main Body which also includes content- bottom & top and the sidebars
      Admin -> Extension Manager -> Template Manager -> rt_template -> Advanced -> Display MainBody -> OFF

      To turn OFF just the FrontPage Main Body
      Admin -> Extension Manager -> Template Manager -> rt_template-> Advanced -> Display Component -> OFF

      If your seeing styling remnants of your EMPTY Main Body.
      CSS out the remnant:
      #rt-main .rt-block {display: none;}
      .component-content {display: none;}

      My bad, force of habit is saying the Home page as this is where it's most often used. In your case it should be the menu page you need to be affected and here that's Leadership.

      So I set the Leadership article to a Featured Article and set the Leadership menu item to menutype Featured Articles.
