SOLVED Changing menu text color without the background changing.
Posted 8 years 10 months ago
I'd like to know if there is built-in functionality that I'm not finding for having the text of menu not being the same as the color of the background without having to make a custom css change for each template?
When I have dark text it's completely covered by the background menu.

Hi Jim,
I am not sure I have understood your question
Looking at the image I am guessing that you don't want the template to use the accent colour for both menu text and dropdown backgrounds?
In some templates we have scss driven code for menu items and in others we use the accent colours. To deviate from those will require use of custom.scss if you want to keep changes after any template ugrades.
While it is possible to make extra settings for various aspects of the templates that approach would make the templates code heavy and take longer to load.
I have misunderstood your question then please get back to me.
Hope this helps
