SOLVED Problem on 5.3.0 - perhaps due to php update ?
Posted 8 years 9 months ago
Hi,
I was using 5.3.0 since few days, when i discovered yesterday that i can't display the layout, either clear the cache, or valid some parameters.
So i did the upgrade to 5.3.2, but the problem still remains. If i download my app in local all works !
I contacted my hoster who says having upgraded php in 5.5.37 last few days.
I just send a ticket a few minutes about to ask him if another changes happened. Php extensions added or removed, some server parameters, or around mySql.
That with the aim to be able to give further elements on this forum.
I tried to downgrade in version 5.2.10 and Gantry works.
Nonetheless, i ask my question now, in order to quickly as possible find solution and avoid myself to rebuild my site to this previous version who's working.
Is there a known issue ?
Or am i opening a new one ?
Or am i totally wrong somewhere ? )
Actually i know :
PHP : 5.5.37
mySql : 5.5.50-38.0
Server linux x86_64
In firebug i notice this message :
joomla JSON Parse error: Unrecognized token '<' in main.js
Thx for your help and your understanding, english is not my native language.

Please post your URL, Username and Password in Secure Tab and i will take a look and maybe figure out what the problem is.
FTP info with Username and password is also necessary ... For posting sensitive information you hit the Blue Reply Button and then you will see Secure Tab. Post all info that is sensitive in there, only Fellow Mods, Staff and I can see that!

Hi Damir,
Great ! Gantry works !
Can you tell me what was the problem : gantry ? or php upgrade ?
But modules (ie sidebar) are not displayed on frontend.
I'm looking for that but I"m not sure to be on the right way to solve my problem.
I clear the cacheā¦

In Gantry 5 see the Extras drop-down in there there is a mod Development and Production if you finished developing the site set it to production you had set it like this and the cache was not cleared ....
