    • Hi,

I download the Helium template and also the preimum "Protean" template and the Particles in the template manager are different.

      Questions:

Are there Pro and Free Particles?
Any documentation on how to create new particles?
Can I just copy particles from a template to another? If so, how?

    • All this is in the documentation http://docs.gantry.org/gantry5/particles

There are two types of particles... those in the "core" of Gantry 5 (e.g. menu, totop, logo/image) and then "template specific" particles (in the PAID templates).

If you want to know how to copy a Gantry 5 particle from one template to another please read my tutorial here in Gantry 5 Official Documentation here .

      Regards, Mark.

    • I would say no because those template specific particles form part of our PAID templates. If it's for your own use we don't mind you copying particle between templates for your own use - but not for commercial release no.
