    SOLVED WARNING!!!!!!!!! Joomla 3.6.3

Posted 8 years 6 months ago
    • Another member besides myself have reported issues with RocketLauncher/Joomla update installer and J363.

Here are my 2 debug methods:

      - if you install J363 native first and then Gantry 5 then your RocketTheme template then the Sample Data it works fine.
      - if you update your Gantry 5 site to J363 using the Joomla update installer then Module editing fails for Admin & Site

So, AS ALWAYS per our recommendation, have a BACKUP before updating to J363.

EDIT: Some some more debugging has revealed that this is only an issue for me in Chrome. In Firefox and Edge Module Manager works properly with J363.

    • I have this issue as well. Is there a fix if we don't have a backup?

    • We are actively investigating some issues at the moment and have yet to find the root cause (other than J3.6.3)... I will update here when we know more.

      Regards, Mark.

    • I think I saw this issue in Joomla tracker.

Joomla has updated some JS files, so hard/force reloading page should fix the issue. The issue happens because of the old (cached) JS is not compatible with J3.6.3.
