  • SOLVED moustache code from Regular Lab plugins displays on error page

    • I am using a coupld of Regular Labs plugins on my website and I have found that the moustache code used in modules displays on the Gantry 5 404 error page. You can see an example on the following url, which will create a 404.

      www.stpha.org/pets

      Notice how the {source} code shows in the menu area, and the {modal} code shows in the footer. These display fine throughout the rest of the site. In both cases, the {} snippet is placed in a module.

      I can create a workaround in the template, but I also thought it might be worthwhile to see if the root cause could be determined since it only happens on the error page.

      I love Gantry 5 by the way. I've been with RocketTheme for years, and Gantry 5 is just amazing. It's easy to teach to my clients and I find it even easier than Gantry 4 to modify.

    • The error page is a special page in Joomla and Joomla does not load many things (including shortcode files) so that is why it does not work. This is a limitation of Joomla rather than anything RT related.

    • Thank you for your quick response. I modified my error page layout to avoid loading any modules with shortcodes.

      Thanks to Gantry 5 for making that a very quick and relaxing process!
