SOLVED Can I create a mega menu? 3 or 4 columns?

I'm trying to create what Wordpress calls a Mega Menu. I believe this used to be possible in Gantry 4 with Roknavmenu.
Multiple columns horizontally in the dropdown.

If you are using Gantry4 then you change the number of columns on the parent menu item. If you wan't to do more sophisticated things like adding images then that dropdown should really be a module (again you can change this on the parent menu item).

In Gantry 5 you use the Gantry 5 menu editor and you can drag and drop modules or particles on to the menu and child menus.

That's helpful, but, there doesn't seem to be an easy (intuitive) way to get the effect I'm looking for.
I've tried Grid Content, Block Content and Menu and all are pretty clumsy at it.
