SOLVED Which loads faster custom module vs html particle

I'm interested in maximising speed increases, but I balance that with being sensible for my end user.
I usually use modules for everything meaning the user only has to be able to find a module or an article to find 100% of their content. I really don't want them using Gantry once I've finalised the design things have been choosen for a reason.
However, in many cases users never log in and I can choose how to display things, and also for my own knowledge and my own website.
So my question is would using a custom HTML module be slower or faster than using a particle with HTML? I'm sure any difference is minimal but it's a query I have all the same. - Owner of Square Balloon

There will be no perceptable difference between the two.
