    SOLVED Menu bar dropdown hidden behind showcase - Interstellar

    Posted 7 years 7 months ago
    • Hi,

      I have been using the interstellar template for my website www.mapletree.org.uk

      I have added a rocksprocket module showcase under my main navigation menu bar and this is now hiding the sub-menus dropdown.

      I've read about z-indexing but not sure if this is the proble or how to go about fixing it. I'd be so grateful if someone can take a look for me please.

      Thanks

      Jess

    • In what browser are you seeing this? I tried Chrome and Firefox and they're both ok?

    • I'm using chrome. If I hover over the about us or the get involved menu items the dropdowns are hidden behind the showcase.

    • I'm not getting that? See screenshot of my chrome.

      What device are you using Chrome on and what version of chrome (make sure it's the latest version). Try clearing your browser cache too.

      Regards, Mark.

    • I managed to reproduce it on an Android device with Chrome... So try this...
      #g-navigation .g-main-nav .g-dropdown {
          z-index: 99999;
      }

      To create a custom CSS compatible with Gantry 5 please read this http://docs.gantry.org/gantry5/tutorials/adding-a-custom-style-sheet .

      Remember to recompile CSS from base outline too.

      Regards, Mark.
