SOLVED Issue with body.yaml file

    • not sure if this is the best place to ask about this.

      I have a body.yaml file located at
      /templates/it_milano/custom/config/default/page

this file has code that I want to remove from it.

When I go to the Joomla backend, the code is not there
Components > Gantry Themes > Milano > Page Settings > Body Attributes setting in the base outline dropdown.

the After <body> block is empty and I am not able to update it.

I can work with the Head Properties custom content box just fine.

Any thoughts on why I can not update the After <body> box?

      Thanks!

    • First of all you do not need to manipulate that file at all. All changes should be done on the page you mentioned.

Which outline are you trying to change this in?

Why can you not update it? (if on an outline other than base outlinem did you tick the override checkbox?)

What are you trying to add? for what purpose?

Please would you post your URL, superuser id and pswd in the secure tab of your post and I'll have a look for you.

      Regards, Mark.

    • Sorry for the delay on replying - I have been away on holiday.

I think that this may be a browser issue. So you could try a different browser.

but, Please would you post your URL, superuser id and pswd in the secure tab of your post and I'll have a look for you.

    • Hi Steven, I tried to do what you video showed and it works fine for me (I didn't change anything as I note that you have already put code in that area too?).

I am using firefox though, and I know that there are some bugs in Chrome Browser that can give issues. So if you are using Chrome try using a different browser and see if you get the same issue.

      Regards, Mark.
