Ok I created a particle override for the showcase particle and then altered the twig code to add the lightcase code around the image for you.

You don't Gantry 5 doesn't yet use Fontawesome 5 - some people have done various workarounds but there are always compromises to be made - better to wait for us to implement it proerly in Gantry 5.
