SOLVED Joomla is not Displaying Messages or Hikashop Custom Fields

- I am using the Gantry 4 theme but it has stopped displaying Joomla messages and Hikashop custom user fields. They show if I change the theme as shown in the two attached images.

do you have “system messages” on in template manager for the gantry 4 template that you are using?

Please would you post your URL, superuser id and pswd in the secure tab of your post and I'll have a look for you. - please provide examples of how to gernerate the system message too.
