    • They can but you need to be aware of some implications. It's very important which templates is set as the "default" (yellow star) in template manager so that Gantry knows where to look for the "particles" in a G5 template or roksprocket knows where to find overrides in a Gantry 4 template.

      It also get pretty confusing having the two installed side by side.

      Therefore, my advice (if you can) would be to clone your site to a test area. Install Gantry 5 and g5 template and uninstall G4 template, and Gantry 4 and any RT extension that you no longer require in G5 (e.g. roknavmenu, rokbox etc).

      Also, If this is your first Gantry 5 project I recommend that you at least load yourself a local rocketlauncher installation of the template that you can refer to (it's an exact replica of the demo). Gantry 5 is quite different to Gantry 4 and this will greatly assist your understanding.
