[Duplicate] Toggle active area too small. How to expand

I've noted this on several templates. In this instance, Hydrogen on Gantry 5 Joomla 3.9.4.
Site is nyycstore.net
The toggle when site is viewed on a phone seems VERY finicky... you have to touch it exactly right for it to work. Feels like the active area is very small. Smaller than the dimensions of the toggle iteself.
How can the "active" area of the toggle be increased?
