SOLVED Checking extension takes 5+ minutes

Hi team,
I am not quite sure if this is a G@ntry issue, but let me explain in short:
Running J!4.2.3 G!5.5.14 Hydrogen 5.5.14 / g5_hydrogen with only three J!4 compatible modules and without any third party template(s).
System is running great, performing well @ cloudzeeland.nl
The only thing that I have since its start is that in my admin panel checking extentions, overides and requests take way too long before they appear (if they appear at all).
Can you hint me what might cause this and how to solve? Personally I think it has something to do with activated caching, but cannot put my finger on it really...

You need to ask Joomla since the checks are done by talking with their site.
