    • Hi Mark,

Run this through Browser Stack and can't recreate the issue my client is having with the serif font. Have added the css you attached to a previous message

Client cleared browser cache but stil has the issue.

Have we added the CSS correctly?

That CSS I gave was illustrative of font stacks - it is not a solution to your issue. The Google Font for "Opens Sans" only includes a woff2 file type not all the others, that is the issue.

You were not supposed to use that CSS I gave - it was just an example of how font stacks work (as you asked).

The solution to your issue is to use a different font (that does have more files types and a more complete font stack for the definition).

      Regards, Mark.

    • Thanks Mark,

Is there any way to know in advance which fonts have the requisite files to display properly on as many browsers as possible.

    • You could spend ages looking at the google font files but honestly the quickest way is just try one - 99.9% of them will be fine.

    • You know... both Arial and Helvetica fonts are really close to the look of "Open Sans" so I would just use one of those... they're much safer fonts to use anyway.
