  • Gantry 5 Helium Theme Custom Css

    • Hi all,

      I just started to try out new gantry with helium theme. But I really couldn't get it from documentation. Beceause my folder structure isn't like the screenshots. It's like;

      -custom
      --config
      --css-compiled
      --language

      and also there is scss folder on theme root folder

      -scss
      --configuration
      --helium
      --helium-joomla
      --some files

      But at the screenshots of documantation it shows like there has to be scss folder inside the custom folder.

      So is it old ss? Do I have to create scss folder manually? If so what else after that? Do I also create a scss file called helium-custom.scss ?

      I'm really confused.

      What happens if I edit files inside the custom folder? After recompiling I guess all css files will reset. So I can't edit css files. So can I edit files inside the scss folder. But I guess they may reset after updating the theme. So please help me out.

    • Under the custom folder you must create a "scss" folder and in that you add a custom.scss file.

      To create a custom CSS compatible with Gantry 5 please read this http://docs.gantry.org/gantry5/tutorials/adding-a-custom-style-sheet .

      Remember to recompile CSS from base outline too.

      Do not edit the other files already in the custom folder.
