Gantry 5 and PhP8 error

Hi
when I try to upgraded to PHP8 I get this error
AH01071: Got error 'PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Array and string offset access syntax with curly braces is no longer supported in plugins/system/gantry/functions.php on line 44'
What's the solution? thanks

What version of PHP? What version of Gantry? What template? Please would you post your URL, superuser id and pswd in the secure tab of your post and I'll have a look for you

Hello Mark,
I too am getting this same error when attempting to upgrade to PHP 8.x on my site. Hopefully it's a known issue that has a quick fix since the question has already been asked. Secure login info posted in the Secure tab.

David Wolfe - You are using Gantry 4 not Gantry 5. Gantry 4 does not work with PHP 8, neither do the old RT "rok" extensions. Also, neither will work with Joomla 4 either.
