Understanding how many templates can be trialled

I have just joined ($90 option) and would like clarification on a point. (I have emailed this to the Team but I'm concerned it may be more suited to the forums-I have searched and have failed to find an answer-sorry if I've missed it!)
I have 3 entitlements. Can I download several (ie more than three) templates, comply with the terms for development (ie use localhost or password protected remote server only) to demo the possibilities to a client, then only use the one template chosen by the client on their live site, thus using only one entitlement? This query arises from me being unsure how Rockettheme know that a developer has used an entitlement on a live site. So, I suppose the core of my question is once 3 templates have been downloaded, does it become impossible to download any more (for testing/demonstrations) unless I upgrade to the Developer club? (It seems it may be that only 3 can be downloaded otherwise people could abuse the system-I would not do that of course but would like to know how it works).

Basically, entitlements = how many live sites you deploy RT templates on.
While your subscription is active you have access to all of the templates and the template specific forums.
You can download any or as many as you like to test them.
The entitlement system is based on the honor system, if you have three entitlements and want to use an RT template on a fourth, you should purchase another entitlement.
Entitlements never expire, subscriptions do, so once your subscription expires, you are free to (in your case) have 3 sites with any RT template you choose.
However, once your subscription expires, you will no longer have access to the download area (to download new templates or updates to existing templates) or the template specific forums. - Thanks,

Thank you JEM. I have now found quite a lot of people wrestling with this one on the forums-and I thought from what was being said that the situation is as you describe. I can't see why some people find it so hard to grasp it... -and one or two seem to be frustrated authors writing reams and ranting needlessly! However I think the position is crystal clear. Many thanks for helping a newbie.
