display problems in IE8 and FF on linux

hi all, we have bought a template from you half a year ago, and we have some problems with that on IE8 and also on Firefox 3.6 ... and other versions under linux.
One of our clients sent me a screen shoot taken on windows XP SP3 with FF3.5 and the site was displayed exactly as FF3.6 on linux.
I tried all sort of joomla patches for IE8 but neither one was efficient.
The template is rt_mediamogul_j15 v 1.5.4.
