Hello, i've a site running on Kinetic.
I'm having serieus problems with Joomla & Pdf creation for IE users.
I know this is mayby not the right forum to discuss it but on the Joomla forums i've seen so many aproaches and hacks en modifications that are workign for the one and not for another that i don't dare to start.
As i've seen in all the replies i've received the RT crew knows well his job.
So my question is .. has anybody seen/found a working solution for this problem ...

I've mailed them, believe it or not, on a IE8 even the demo-page on their site doesn't render in PDF !!

Two points to consider:
the default font that is installed (language/pdf_fonts) for your language.
E.g., for English, it's <pdfFontName>freesans</pdfFontName>, for Japanese, it's <pdfFontName>sazanami-gothic</pdfFontName>
Make sure you have the proper pdf font installed for your language if it doesn't match the default.

You may also consider changing the default font for the template to see if the PDF renders properly.

JEM,
Even on the RT Demo site of Quantive, when i go to the Preset Styles selection there is a PDF incon, when i press it in IE8, empty page !!

Ok, ive added english-us to the languages of my browser (i'm normally un dutch local language) soft is in english. And i've put it on the top row.
Now it works fine !!
So it has something to do with the local settings of the browser.
I'll dive into it.
