Why no AutoUpdate feature for Gantry ????

Hi, I have updated Gantry for the 3 rd time now and I have been informed that a new version 3.0.4 is out, which I downloaded too.
Gantry is amazing and is getting better every day - I think it will serve RocketTheme much more in future - even when there will be no more Joomla, Drupal etc advances and improvements in Gantry framework will keep RocketTheme afloat for a long time. I got a hunch that Gantry will become something very different - perhaps a new CMS system.
I wonder why there is no AutoUpdate feature for a "getting greater every day framework" ( that is Gantry ) ?
The second question is : OK, I understand there are difficulties, but can't you find a way to bypass them and include a "Update Gantry" button which would do the magic ?

You may see this type of feature in the future, but for now, with all the full and incremental releases, the upgrade process is a little different.
But really it's no different than any other component upgrade, some require in uninstall/reinstall, others simply require an update of (core) files.
Ar least with Gantry 3.0+ you are notified when an update is available. - Thanks,
