    Secondary menu in TerranTribune

Posted 14 years 9 months ago
    • I've been unable to get a horizontal sub menu to appear in TerranTribune. See the TerranTribune dark demo with the items "Features", "Typography" "Tutorials", "Wrapper", "JStuff" ( demo.rockettheme.com/jul08_2_j15/ ). I started by using a module that must have been from the default install called Top Menu and turned it on in the toolbar position but can't get it to show. When I tried the header position it shows but isn't styled properly. I've tried several other things, but nothing works, what am I missing?

    • Sorry about the double post. My first post went missing, which caused me to wonder if it was moved, but now I suspect it's because my subscription has expired. Is that correct? I can't access the link.

      Time to renew :D
Anyway, here is my reply there:
Go to your Extensions > Template manager, then choose Terran Tribune. At the right side parameter, you may set the menu type to "Splitmenu"

    • SplitMenu turns on the section I want, but the child items go away and nothing I've tried puts any menu items there. The menu details for the template indicate that SplitMenu renders "...the top-level menu options horizontally, and the submenu/child items are rendered in a module on the side." So I assume my child items will only display in a side module but I would like child items to pop up. I currently use MooMenu on the main menu and would like to keep that if possible. Is there a way to have both MooMenu on the main and display another menu horizontally below the main.

    • I would hate to think I haven't gotten any further response to the above just because my subscription is over. Anyone have ideas? Can TerranTribune do this (MooMenu with another horizontal menu below sort of like the demo)?

No, at the moment, you will be able to choose one of them, moomenu or splitmenu. You can't use both of them at the same time.
