new rocketlauncher install using old existing database

I have been working on a standard Joomla install through "fatastico' using the standard template to enter core components, sections, categories and content for a future site.
They now want to change to a rocket them
if I use ROCKET LAUNCHER can I leave the data base alone and simply call for the existing database in set up so that all my preliminary work is not wasted?

- Nope. RocketLauncher is for fresh installations ONLY. You have to make a choice...do you want to use RocketLauncher, or do you want to use the work that you've already done? You can just use the standard template if you want to save the work you've already done. My suggestion would be to create a separate subdomain for the RocketLauncher installation so you can use it as a reference when you're building your site.
