Lack of responses to queries

Hi,
Is it normal at RT forums to not receive useful replies to questions? In the members forums there seems to be large numbers of posts which have 0 replies (and often have only a couple of views weeks later, but still no responses) and many with 1 or 2 replies which dont answer the actual query. Often, the 1 or 2 received replies are bumps from the original poster, asking "anybody???"....and receiving silence as the response.
According to the number of views for 5 posts I've made over the past 2 weeks, the only views my posts have received have been due to me viewing the posts to double check that my queries are easily understood. As far as I can tell, my queries can be understood and are not particularly strange.
I've always been reluctant to bump my own posts (the rules say no bumping), but I'm not sure what to do next when my posts dont even get views, much less responses. I dont want to be a complainer or seem ungrateful (I love Gantry and RocketTheme) but I need to deliver answers to my customers and that means making progress, not sitting still awaiting responses which never arrive.
Should I be upgrading my membership to Developer? In other words, am I more likely to get timely support with a Developer membership? I'm happy to pay if that's the answer.

- I'm having the same issues myself... This is absolutely ridiculous... I've asked some simple questions that I couldn't find the answer too in the forum and I've received 0 replies (other than my own bumps...).I just shelled out 150$ for themes on this site and "support" but there is NO support.

I'm taking it back, it took a couple days but I got a response to my ? that was so dead on I'm almost in shock. Really, you know how it normally is, the help is always off a little, but not this time, top marks on the support for me today....

I agree, they go out of their way to move your posts or point out that you didn't do something right, but get an actual answer? I'm new here but not happy, this is so like so many "pay-to-play" Joomla developers. Was hoping for better. - Last Edit: 14 years 8 months ago by cbthree.

Alexander Moody welcome to rockettheme forum and have a cup of java and enjoy the ride.
Often question are not answer as they are not formated well If you remember to give all users and mod as much information as you can you will notice a reply in less than 8 hours in my experience.
However if the question is cryptic then it is harder for any one to answer users will just skip it and mod will skip it till they have time to figure out what the user is trying to say. - Please be kind no PM without asking,Pm without asking will result in fow list
