Cant log into admin anymore after primary domain change
Posted 14 years 8 months ago
Hey all, I cant log into the back of my NEW administrator. Here's what happen; I had a PRIMARY domain called (Xwebsite) and within that (public html folder) I had some add-on domains. One in particular was (Zwebsite).
Well, I didn't want (Xwebsite) anymore but I still wanted (Zwebsite). So I asked the hosting company to make (Zwebsite) my NEW PRIMARY and get rid of the old. They did that for me on they're end and it came back and seemingly functioned properly. However, when I tried to log into my NEW PRIMARY adminstrator I got this error:
Warning: require_once(my path/administrator/includes/defines.php) failed to open stream: No such file or directory in (my path/administrator/index.php on line 21
Fatal error: require_once () [funtion.require] Failed open required (my path) on line 21
This is really out of my league, does anyone know what this means, or how I can fix this?

My bet is that your configuration.php file is listing your old site as the live site. FTP in there, find the LIVE SITE entry, and take out everything between the quote marks so it's blank, save-upload again and try now
