Gantry install without launcher — Templates Features?

On a clean install of a gantry template (without Launcher) do I need to install anything to be able to use the Features in the template manager—> Logo, date, font sizer, login panel, popup module, smartload??? (what’s this?) , copyright,more articles,top scroller
ie6 warning, Google analytics etc
What about the Iphone/ipod settings?
What about the Advanced Tab settings?
Gantry Cache
Gantry GZipper
Input Styling ????? (what’s this?)
and all the other settings
What I want to know is what is needed to install to have all possibilities from the Template manager whitout installing the ”Launcher” Version.
You should Have a step by step for people that want to have a clean install. Most High end user or website reseller will not want to install the launcher and waist time taking out all the stuff... - Last Edit: 14 years 8 months ago by Patrick Toulze.

What about Gantry Template for Joomla 1.5 3.0.9 rocketlauncher here:

It's a Joomla stock install with the Gantry framework.

If you want a clean install to work with (which is may be easier to work with than editing / deleting content) do the following:
Go here and DL the latest Rocket Launcher version: code.google.com/p/gantry-framewo ... loads/list
Do a clean install and do not install the Sample Data. The Sample Data in this RL version is the Joomla core Sample Data and will not corrupt the install if not installed as it does not contain any RT components. So you will not wind up with any empty RT component / module / plugin folders to deal with later.
Go to the download section for your template and download the standalone version and the extensions for your template.
Install them as you would any other extensions.
Alternately, you can do a stock install of Joomla from joomla.org without the Sample Data, but you will have to go through one extra step of installing the Gantry framework (from the link above) or use the bundle package from template’s download section, along with installing the extensions. - Thanks,

This my how to, so far....
1) Install the last Joomla version
2) Install the Gantry template (bundle) (Template + Gantry Framewors) (Joomla installer)
Now Gantry appear as a component, doesn’t show in the Component list but in the Extension Manager (Install/Uninstall)
Note 1: Enable or not it will do is job.
Note 2: If you have used a BUNDLE install and a newer version of gantry is released. —> http://code.google.com/p/gantry-framework/downloads/list
Download and install the newest gantry_joomla_framework-?.?.?.zip to update your gantry version.
You do not need to uninstall gantry before doing the update. (Joomla installer)
3) install the needed basics extension:
—> Components —> com_rokmodule - (needed for many rock extension that use Ajax and template and template functionalities)
RokModule doesn’t show in the Component but in the Extension Manager (Install/Uninstall) and doesn’t needed to be enabled when install (auto enabled)
(If problems uninstall completly before reinstall/upgrade)
to uninstall: com_rokmodule > extensions > install/uninstall > components > rokmodule
or manually uninstall and reinstall...
—> RockNavMenu —> Install mod_roknavmenu (Joomla installer)
(If problems uninstall completly before reinstall/upgrade)
1. please delete the following directories (if present)
../components/com_roknavmenubundle
../modules/mod_roknavmenu
../plugins/roknavmenu
../administrator/components/com_roknavmenubundle
2. please delete the following files (if present)
../administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.plg_roknavmenu_extendedlink.ini
../administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.plg_roknavmenu_boost.ini
../administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.mod_roknavmenu.ini
../language/en-GB/en-GB.mod_roknavmenu.ini
3. now login to phpmyadmin, select your database and search for "roknav" (without "")
your results may vary, but you may get something similar to this:
x match(es) inside table jos_components
x match(es) inside table jos_content
x match(es) inside table jos_menu
x match(es) inside table jos_modules
x match(es) inside table jos_plugins
now delete all entries, using the delete button next to the entry.
perform a 2nd search to make sure no more results are shown.
Will install one module —> RokNavMenu (needed to be enabled to have a menu not the main horizontal)
and 2 plugins —> RokNavMenu - Boost & RokNavMenu - Extended Link Both doesn’t needed to be enabled when install (auto enabled)
Note: if you only use a single horizontal menu on your site, then this menu will be configured via the template parameters. in this case
you do NOT need the mod_roknavmenu module to be enabled. it will aslo work if the module is disabled.
If you would like to use another menu in another position, such as the sidebar-a position, then you will need a mod_roknavmenu PUBLISHED in the sidebar-a position in
order for it to work.
—> RockBox —> Install plg_system_rokbox.zip (Joomla installer) Needed for many abilities in the Template manager) have to be enabled
—> Plugin —> plg_system_rokgantrycache (NOT YET XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX HAVE TO INVESTIGATE)
—> Plugin —>plg_system_rokgzipper (NOT YET XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX HAVE TO INVESTIGATE)
