Same template, but different assignments?

Hello
what if, say, I have a template installed to my joom site,, BUT,, I want the same template ( with css modifications ) assigned to just one page.
How do I install the same template twice? do I just copy / rename it? would that work?
do I have to repack the modded theme with a new name?
what is the best way?

the simplest way would be to ftp it up to the templates folder but give it's folder a different name like so:
templates\vortex\
templates\vortex1\
however, you'll often get confused about which is which when you're in the admin panel so i'd also recommend changing the name of the template in the templatedetails.xml file (to vortex1 in the above example) - Say no to Internet Explorer 6.
