Basic tutorials for WordPress?

I am a new RocketTheme subscriber with some WordPress experience.
What brought me to RocketTheme was the amount of flexibility and creativity offered by the themes here.
So far I've only started one site: www.wingedfeet.net
My question for the forum is about the lack of tutorials for WordPress.
It would really help to have at least a high level tutorial here.
Some specific wishes:
1) a video (or HTML tutorial) showing us how to migrate from a "regular" theme to a RocketTheme
2) a PDF pointing out all the areas talked about in the Layout settings on the theme demo page
3) an easier way to assign header images - I still can't figure out where to define this
I have searched around the forums for this stuff. It seems like whenever I look for 'tutorial' I end up with a long list of Joomla results but nothing for WordPress.
