Rocket Launcher Best Pratcies

    • Hello!

I'm curious how people feel about best practices for the rocket launcher site installs.

For example, should one start editing existing content and keep/modify the categories/sections. Or should one first change the categories/sections then map images out to folders that will make logical sence or keep 'demo content' folders.

Should you kill unpublished demo content or keep it for formatting tips/tricks?

      Thanks for any insight!

    • A rocketlauncher is really meant to be a reference and not the actual install you should use for your site.

The best thing to do is make a core joomla install, install the template or template bundle with Gantry, then create a separate install of the rocketlauncher on a subdomain. When you want something on your main site, you can use the rocketlauncher as a reference and create things the same way.
