New gantry

Thanks for your direct assistance, Kat!
The "Menu Item" button seems to function now, but I am faced with the problem I discovered after first upgrading, which is:
1) I select "Menu Item", then "Shelter Cove".
2) Under Settings, I'm trying to Manage the background on the Rotator for that page. When I click "Manage", the overlay page comes up. At first I didn't see the white box listing the images I have, but upon scrolling back up I located it. It's no longer centered in your window. Rather, it is positioned along the top left corner of the page.
No matter, though, since I found the box I need...
then
3) I drag a new image over and omit the image I had in place. Then I click "Save".
Rather than the box closing and returning me to my original page, the white box simply diminishes to a smaller rectangle and does not disappear. I cannot get back to my main page to apply/save my changes there. The only way I can get back is to refresh my page, which effectively negates my change.
Please let me know if you're not following what I'm describing and I'll try to attach images.

this is a known issue which is currently looked into by the developers, if you need to use the image manager now, then you need to uninstall the current gantry version and go back to 3.0.12, just download and install last file from this page: code.google.com/p/gantry-framework/downl...dCount+Type+Platform

- Oh, and I did try with Safari as well as Firefox. Same problem.

3.0.12 is the latest version of gantry 3.0
3.1.4 is the latest version of gantry 3.1
gantry 3.1 was introduced beginning of this months with performance improvements but unfortunately the issue with the panacea image manager was introduced. the devs will have a fix for this soon.

to update you can just install the newer version, to downgrade it is better if you uninstall the existing version via > extensions > install/uninstall > components > gantry...

I was referring to the error on the frontpage which you have sent me, something about the para component.
Yesterday I moved hosts and reset everything so atm I use gantry 3.0.2 until there's a more stable update.

hi again,
so far i was unable to replicate this issue locally, could you get a quantive rocketlauncher installed in a subdirectory, update gantry there to latest and see if you have issues there too?
then you could send me login details again and i can see if i find anything while your real quantive site keeps using the older gantry version.

Hi Kat,
I dont know if I should. I don't really have the time for that and you have already answered to Tami's problem which is the same as mine.
Besides that, uploading 6000+ files using ftp takes up to 4 hours for me.

you could try to upload the package and unzip it on your server (for example via cpanel filemanager), that will go much much faster.
