What are the best themes for an eCommerce site?

- It won't be an item-heavy site; however, the owner would like to be able to sell her book. Any suggestions on themes? Also, would I need to get a separate extension for the site?

Any theme is OK, the commerce solution you use is based on your needs...
From the simple RokQuickcart www.rockettheme.com/extensions-joomla/rokquickcart , to VM virtuemart.net , or others... - Thanks,

- The most simple way is to just use the paypal shopping cart buttons, pasted into your articles. The next would be RokQuickcart since it's simple and integrated (looks nicer than the generic paypal buy now buttons). Virtuemart is full featured, but if you're selling 1 book, it's probably overkill. One benefit it DOES have is things like coupons, tons of shipping plugins and other goodies. There's also Tienda, which is a newer cart. It's got less stuff than Vmart, but is built on a newer framework so it's going to be easier to update in the future (unless Vmart rebuilds their entire codebase soon).

is the latest version of Rockettheme Mynxx template running Joomla 1.5.22 and Virtuemart 1.1.6?
i understand it is the only virtuemart/joomla combo that Rockettheme has released?
