Hi John,
I spent an hour on it yesterday and got nowhere.
Is it OK if I try another install of the template? Not sure if you had made any mods to css etc. Or if you had a back up just in case something goes wrong.

Sure. I haven't made any major edits to the css. The thing is - I've tried two different templates: somaxiom and paradox and they both display the same behavior.
That leaves me thinking it must be something to do with gantry. Did you see how the template manager is kind of messed up on the back end?
And I tried reinstalling gantry but perhaps I missed some piece of it...
And the weirdest part is that everything is fine unless I turn off the zipper :shock:

This is a tough cookie but I think I am getting somewhere.
Can you tell me what this is for please - ********.localshare.org/boulder/includes/js/joomla.javascript.js.pagespeed.ce.z9y-nny6be.js
It seems to appear before the gantry css and I suspect it is causing the problem.

Aha! Great work David.
I looked in that directory and saw that no such file existed but was thinking "I know I've seen that somewhere."
Then I remembered that my hosting company was offering google's page speed optimization when setting up domains. When I set this one up, I figured "why not?" and implemented it.
I just turned it off and the changes will take effect within 10 minutes. Perhaps that's what's been causing this mess.

David, I just have two more relatively easy questions regarding this template:
1. I'm using a module to display the site's logo in the "top-a" position. The logo is picking up a 15px top and bottom padding from gantry.css which I want to override for this particular module. I tried giving the module a class suffix "logo1" and adding the following line to paradox's template.css:
#rt-block, .logo1 {padding-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px;}
to no avail. How can I get rid of that padding just for that one module position?
2. I'm using a Joomla extension's search module as the main search mechanism for this site. How can I get that search bar to appear in the template when the site is being viewed through a mobile style sheet?

Hi there,
1.) Open template.css and add this code to the bottom....
#rt-top .rt-grid-4 .rt-block {padding: 0;}
2.) You would need to make sure that you publish the module toa position that gets called in the iphone version. See the attached pic or go to template admin and check the iphone section.
