Demo Content onto a live site

Hi,
i would like to use another template with the new demo content on a live site.
Is it somehow possible to install the rocketlauncher without deleting the Live data?
I have over 100 Users and Jomsocial on the site, so a new template is only then usefull, when i can install it additionally to the existing content. I hope that you have a solution for that.

hi there,
no, you can't use the rocketlauncher on an existing site. a rocketlauncher will always give you a replica of the demo and not a mix of your already existing content and demo content, that's just not possible.
you can install the template as usual if you want to keep the content of your live site.

why not run rocket launcher on localhost then copy all the files into the remote webspace then upload all of the database tables into your database apart from users and article content?
(backup your main site first before you start or make a copy of your main site on localhost to make the job easier then when correct upload. Maybe use navicat or similar to manipulate database) - Never argue with idiots, they will drag you to their level and beat you with experience!

- I will try. Just I need to figure out which tables i can and which i have to rename first. Since the actual content is almost under indentical structures and table names.
