Comments/Suggestions for logo on Paradox theme

Hi guys,
Not sure if I'm posting in the correct place as my topic is about general design as oppose to a specific template or product...
Have been working on my site the last few days - only on localhost so no link but have provided a screenshot.
It is based off the Paradox template and as you may notice, I am trying to make it look more like a template by another provider - loved their design but various problems and not very flexible - wanted the power of gantry, but anyway...
If you take a look at the screenshot you can see that I have been working on the 'top' of the template - header, feature area etc - While I like the way it has turned out I think the logo looks a little odd and am looking for suggestions as to how I can make it fit the design a little better.
The logo itself, and its colours should stay the same however I am happy to change the size, position, rotation, background etc.
I am going to try out making it look like it is a tab coming off the main menu - reducing the size a little - but looking for some other comments/suggestions.
Oh and for a little bit of background info, the site is a photo based 'game', where people go out and take fun pictures to post.
