Strange char's in editor

Just had something weird come up and was wondering if anyone has ever seen this before. Look a the little squares at the ends of the lines. Everything still works ok but these little boxes started showing up. Funny thing is, it's only on the template files from RT (why I posted here). Anyone ever see this before?

Using Crimson Editor ( www.crimsoneditor.com/ ) I know it's an old editor but I've been using it for years and it's the best programming editor I've ever found.

Looks like it's just replacing carriage returns with the little box.
Everytime there's a new line, it shows you that new line with the box. Not sure why it's only with RT templates... but, it's harmless none the less.
