I am logging a Broken pipe: core_output_filter:writing data to the network and a connection reset by peer: core_output_filter: writing data to the network errors every second in the error log.
Does anyone know what causes these and how to overcome them?
Also, during very high volume times I can go from a load average of .06 to 61.35 in a matter of minutes. I know the Rockettheme templates are very reliant on mysql, but this is getting a bit too much.
Any thought or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
The webserver is hosted internally with our school system and has nothing on it but this website. It's a Linux server (CentOS), running the optimal configuration (according to Joomla.org).
That being said, it doesn't mean we actually know much more than just setting up the box as described. Our guys try there best with it, but they only know enough to keep it up-and-running. As for optimizing the server, we are all scratching our heads.
The volume of users eventually shutdowns mysql altogether.
It's a mess.
Any suggestions? Does anyone know what type of professional we could even contact to help us get this all worked out?
