Joomla 1.6 and Nooku - Is History Repeating Itself?
Posted 14 years 3 months ago
Although I came into Joomla when 1.0x was stable, I was still reading about the fork from Mambo to Joomla.
Now it seems like history may be repeating itself although with a slightly different twist.
Seems to me that the Nooku Framework is emerging as an offshoot of Joomla.
While I understand that these two work hand in hand, it seems like there's two camps growing. One just Joomla and the other Joomla/Nooku.
Maybe I'm wrong but after reading Fotis' blog post, it sure seems that way to me.
Hopefully someone with a more historical view could shed some light...hint hint Andy!
Cheers,
Rich
