RT styling for K2

Having noted that Rockettheme templates have K2 styling, I've installed K2 on a test site (along with an RT template, naturally) and I'm trying to learn how K2 works and is styled.
Unsurprisingly, my efforts don't look as fantastic as the RT demo sites, so I'm after some help but I haven't managed to find any tutorials on how to make use of the RT styling for K2. The modules look great, but the articles/blog entries could probably be better.
Are there any such tutorials on stylistic integration between K2 and RT templates? My efforts to UTFSE haven't thrown much up so any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
