    • As of now... I am working on a website while the old website is still considered the "Current" website. Although, when you search for my website it will bring up both, mine being the /joom root. Is there any way to make it so that only the main root shows up... exp. vmgt.com

    • It will be updated when the google bots come crawling back through.

This can be speeded up by links to other sites and vice versa

    • create a file in notepad and name it robots.txt. The file should hold the following info:
      User-agent: *
      Disallow: /joom

Upload it to your site root.

To be sure it works access this in your browser:

      www.yoursite.com/robots.txt

The search engines will be updated the next time they crawl your site.
